Best part?
They chose these all on their own.
Okay, so I thought about this and thought it would be a fun activity for me. But what I didn’t realize is that my kids would have more fun thinking about what their top 3 fun activities that they wanted to do before they get older. Honestly, I don’t see how they’d be too old for any of these but that’s what they told me. Haha!
Anyway, we thought about an entire list of things that would be so fun to do and they each picked out their top 3 they wanted on their list.
We’ll start with the youngest of my littles.
Abigail
Livingroom Fort
We have actually done this before, but she insisted it was so fun that she’d like to keep doing this…so it’ll probably be on her next list. Ha!
Honestly, I can’t blame her – it’s like a childhood rite of passage! One you can do anytime you want to!

Horseback Riding
I gotta say, I’ve always wanted to do this with my kids. We’ve just never seemed to have the time or the money, but this is a definite on her ‘bucket list!’ I did this one time when I was really young, but I don’t remember it. I just know because of a photo that I saw years ago. Actually, whatever happened to that photo? Anyway, this is a must that we definitely have to save for! Would be so fun!

The Beach
Another one that I’ve wanted to do with my kiddos. Being that we live in PA, all the local beaches are too crowded for this mama. But we will absolutely have to knock this off the list! Who on earth wouldn’t wanna go to the beach, am I right?

Oliver
S’mores
This is funny because we have done this several times before, but I completely understand! They’re just too good! Who doesn’t like having a fire and roasting marshmallows? Add the chocolate and graham crackers and there’s no going back!

Water Balloon Fight
Another one we have done before but, honestly, we don’t do this enough. So, I totally get it! Who doesn’t love tossing water balloons at other people? Plus, on a hot day, this is a great way to cool off!

The Beach
They have both been asking to do this for years, so we definitely have to knock this one out of the park for them! And it’s just too funny that they both chose this one for their top 3.

Have you mamas ever thought about making your kiddos a childhood bucket list?
This just seemed like a fun activity that could be repeated over and over. Smaller ones are easier to complete so we just started with 3. Once those are done, we can make another small one to be completed, and so on. I can’t wait to get started!
What do you mamas think about this idea?
Please share!
Love it! The idea of asking them what they would want on their bucket list and reading what O & A chose!
