Hey mamas! I just want to tell y’all about a lady I became very good friends with at my workplace. She is quite an amazing human, and we became close pretty quickly.
At first, though, we weren’t even on the same shift. Which meant that we never really worked together and that we didn’t know each other very well. Which also meant that whatever I was told about this newer employee, I really had no other choice but to accept as truth. Honestly, everything I was told felt strangely wrong. But, not knowing any better since I didn’t know this lady, I had to just kind of go with it.
Day after day, I was pretty much constantly vented to about how she did this or how she didn’t do that. And, of course, being me, I try to come up with reasons why or why not. Always trying to find the lighter side of the situation. Alas, it never worked.
Things seemed to change, though, once she had to switch shifts. Then we began working together – only a few hours here and there – but I was finally able to see who she really was. Once we started working together more and more, I was able to get to know her much better and found that, not only is she a good person, but she was also one of the hardest workers in our store!
I was quite surprised, you know? This woman that I’ve heard pretty much all bad things, she was not even a little bit! And we were able to work together for quite some time and became very close.
Work Besties!
We were quite a team there for a while. Up until she was given the boot. Which, I must say, came as quite a surprise to everyone! Especially her and I. And from what I understand, the reasoning behind it – completely INSANE! I just can’t get over how absolutely unfair their reason was.
Anyway, even though she is no longer working there, we are still really good friends and talk just about every day. And I may be biased, but this lady is definitely a good person and deserved so much better. By far.
Now, here is the part where I tell you about her little business. It’s quite small – one gal show – but she does an amazing job on her products.
FunShine Creationz is the name of her business, and she makes some very beautiful dreamcatchers. She made one for my daughter. Rapunzel themed. It’s absolutely gorgeous.

She also made one for my son in his favorite color and he loves it. Mine is a mini. I have it hanging in my car on the mirror and it’s red to match. I absolutely love it!
I have to tell you right now, though, that her work is so pretty. I mean, if you don’t believe me, click the link above and find out for yourself! I have already shown you photos of the ones she made for my kids and me. But if you want to see more, just go to her Facebook page with the link above. She has so much more for you to see. I also have a few others below.

A little about the creator:
Her name is Ashley. She started creating her dreamcatchers about 10 years ago but has always been very creative and loves DIY. Here is what she had to say about getting started on her dreamcatchers…

“It was kind of an accidental creation. I was braiding string and beads for bracelets – just tinkering at home. I had wrapped one to a little hoop to hold it steady and our dog at the time actually got ahold of it and somehow unraveled the strands. And how it kind of laid in the hoop, it kind of created a small dreamcatcher. And I started to look up the aspect of creating them and it took off from there.”
I then asked her when she had started to actually sell these beauties!
“I actually just recently started selling them. I believe my first sale was actually within the past few years. I was originally just creating them to give away to family and friends.”

I was pretty curious about whey she felt more drawn to creating dreamcatchers.
“I continued with the dreamcatchers because I love the thought and beliefs behind them on helping guide you to have good dreams. But I also love their beauty. I love how every one of them are unique and beautiful in their own way. Like they have their own personalities. And are so pretty to look at.”
I remembered that she wanted to start her own Etsy store.
“Unfortunately, no Etsy account yet. However, it is in the works!”
I finally asked her if she had tried creating other things before her beautiful dreamcatchers.
“Yes, I’ve made all kinds of things actually. I’ve always had that crafty finger so I’m always dabbling in something. Most of the ‘arts & crafts’ that get done are for the children though. I’ve always been the ‘fun’ aunt to have at parties because I’m always entertaining the kids with fun activities. But the dreamcatchers are my favorite craft for sure.”
There you have it! Not only is she working very hard to create the most beautiful dreamcatchers, but she’s also trying to set up an Etsy account to bring her beauties to all of you! Once she has it up and running, I’ll let y’all know so you can head over and start supporting her itty-bitty business! She definitely deserves to succeed after everything. I’m more than happy to help a fellow mama succeed if I can.
What about you? π
I absolutely freaking LOVE you!! π₯Ίππ
