As any mom knows, our kids just love macaroni and cheese!
So much so that some kids will only ever eat macaroni and cheese. Also, as a mom knows, a lot of that macaroni and cheese that our kids eat isn’t all that great. Cheap, sure! But just not good for them.
So, I once tried to make mac and cheese in a crock pot without a recipe – it did not go so well. Not at all. I’m ashamed to say that it was a disaster!
This recipe is super easy and super delicious!

Ingredients:
- 2 cups macaroni noodles
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 1/2 cups cheddar cheese (grated by hand!)
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 (10.75oz) can condensed cheddar cheese soup
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup whole milk
- add pepper to taste
3 Easy Steps!
- Bring water to a boil. Cook macaroni for 6 minutes.
- In a medium pan, mix butter and cheese until cheese melts. Add sour cream, soup, salt, milk, and pepper. Mix well.
- Add cheese sauce to slow cooker (spray with nonstick cooking spray first) along with the macaroni. Mix until combined and cook on low for 2 hours – stirring every half hour.
Enjoy!
