Super Easy Crockpot Chicken & Dumplings

  • 21 ounces cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup water (or chicken broth as I prefer)
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (or 1 stick)
  • 16.3 ounces Grands biscuits
  • add salt and pepper to taste
  1. Place cream of chicken soup in bottom of crock pot. Layer breasts on top. Top with butter. Pour water over. Place lid on and cook on high for 3 hours.
  2. Remove chicken and shred. Place back into crock pot.
  3. Open can of biscuits and place on cutting board. For large biscuits, cut into quarter size. For smaller biscuits, cut into smaller pieces. (Number doesn’t matter.) Drop pieces into crock pot and stir. Replace lid and cook on high for 1 hour. Season with pepper and serve.
